Before you start performing your first tests you have to read Testing Instructions that describe the testing process and you are ready to go.

  10. What 3D model is used for filament testing?

    All tests are performed using the #3DBenchy (http://www.3dbenchy.com/) 3D model. #3DBenchy 3D model is specifically designed for testing and benchmarking. It is a small recognizable object that you can download for free. #3DBenchy is designed to offer a large array of challenging geometrical features, and touch on different issues related to additive manufacturing.

  11. How can I notify 3Dprintmaterials.guru administration about what 3D printers I have?

    If you are a registered 3Dprintmaterials.guru user, you can list all printers that you have at your use in My Printers section. If your printer is not among the available options in the drop-down list, you can enter it manually by clicking Other in drop-down list and manually typing your printer model and manufacturer.

    If you are a registered 3Dprintmaterials.guru user, you can list all filaments that you have at your use in My filaments section. If your filament is not among the available options in the drop-down list, you can enter it manually by clicking Other in drop-down list and manually typing what type filament it is (ABS, PLA, etc.), color, diameter, manufacturer and where it is possible to purchase it (for example, Amazon link or link from manufacturer’s webshop).
